PLANNING & EXECUTION
The Special Events team supports safety preparation, planning, and execution for special events held on campus, such as dignitary visits, athletic and sporting events, and other unique events like the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 2020 Vice Presidential Debate.
When these types of events occur on campus, U Police officers work in collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies, including the FBI, the Secret Service, and Homeland Security.
If you are planning an event that will require public safety support, submit the form below and a member of our special events team will be in touch to learn more and discuss next steps.
